Foreclosure Prevention
© If a resident of
unincorporated Lee County is HUD Income qualified
and is in the process of being foreclosed, LCHDC has a program where we can
give assistance and counseling in order to prevent the homeowner from
losing their homestead property. Also if you received Lee County SHIP funds
at the time of your home purchase or anyone that is disabled living in your
household you still may qualify to receive assistance.
Neighborhood
Stabilization Program (NSP)
If you have a family of four with an
income of $72,840, you could be eligible to purchase an extremely
affordable home through Lee County's NSP Program. The County is
purchasing and rehabilitating homes to sell to qualified buyers.

Qualified buyers will receive assistance
in the form of a subsidy—a second mortgage to be provided by Lee County. These homes are meant to be the buyer’s
primary, homesteaded residence.
Investors are not allowed to purchase NSP homes.
